Sanctuary will always accept new applications, but this does not mean we won't uphold a maximum membercount. We would like to keep a solid memberbase of ~64 players and ideally about 8 of each class. The 4 criteria that are judged the most on an application are: age (maturity), activity, loyalty and most importantly a friendly personality. The later criteria directly symbolizes what Sanctuary is all about: friendship. We are well aware that most guilds have a very different approach to guild leading and interaction than ours, but it is what makes us successful. It is far too complicated to explain the vibe you'll get in Sanctuary, you will have to be a Sanctuarian to feel it.

We also know a trial period is not only for a guild to test the player, at the same time it is also a great opportunity for the player to test the guild. Players who doubt our guild and want to try us out before they decide, are free to make an application. There's no reason to like us before you know us ;)

o Personal requirements

Age: 18+ (we will accept "perfect" applications from 16+)
Region: Europe (able to play on GMT+1 schedules)
Language: We only use English, you are expected to at least have fluent English writing skills
Personality: Very loyal, ambitious and friendly.
Activity: hardcore prefered (min. expected to raid 3 evenings per week and full availability on sunday-thursday evenings)
Social: Using the forums is a rule, IRC & ventrilo are optional (when not raiding)

o Gaming requirements

Ventrilo: Having ventrilo installed with a working microphone (even shy people can shout for help when dieing)
Computer: Don't keep a whole raid waiting because your framerate is 1 FPS, if you can afford to play an MMO you should be able to afford a minor PC upgrade.

When you start writing your application, you should know what Sanctuary is. You are allowed to ask us questions about our guild in your application, but don't aks us if we play Asmo or Elyos. We expect you to be interested in our guild when you apply.

Whilst writing your application, know that you will need to make an effort to pursuade us of your personality mainly. We do not care much about your past achievements in WoW. We already know before you applied you were in the best guild, as all of us. We care more about personality, we care about you as a person, not a gaming character. Let us know how you feel about us and the game, what you want to achieve with us and why you are interested in Sanctuary. Personality is our priority, characters and status can be made.

We are friends, and we work together. Everything is discussed together and we want all our members to like eachother. So it's best that you are not a solo-player or have your eyes on the loot.
